ISIS gangs suffer heavy blows in Iraq

While it is reported that the Iraqi army has repulsed the ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and al Sham) gangs from around Babil and Baghdad, it is learned that the gangs also withdrew from Tikrit. Meanwhile, the Iraqi army is withdrawing from Fallujah.
A news agency close to the Iraqi government reports that the deployment of the ISIS gangs around the middle of Iraq and Baghdad has been broken and the ISIS gangs are withdrawing. The reason  for the withdrawal however is not known if is due to tactical moves or by the airstrikes of the Iraqi air force and the coalition.
100 ISIS gang members captured in Babil province
The president of security in Babil province said that 100 members of the ISIS gangs and 2 leaders of the organisation surrendered to the Iraqi army. It is reported that al-Qaeda leaders who took part in bomb attacks between 2003-2005 in Iraq were among the gang members who surrendered to the Iraqi army.
The operation commander of Selahattin region stated that they launched an operation in Baji town to the north of Tikrit against ISIS gangs and 7 villages were cleansed of the ISIS gangs. Within the scope of the operations carried out in order to clear the city of ISIS gangs, the Iraqi army took control of the Baghdad-Kerkuk and Samara-Tikrit roads.
The spokesman of the defence ministry of Iraq, Muhammed Askeri, stated that as the result of heavy clashes between the 31st unit of the 8th brigade and the volunteer Shiite militias and the ISIS gangs, two areas were liberated from the ISIS gangs. It is stated that 60 ISIS gang members were killed as the result of the clashes.
The Iraqi army retook control of Duvelibe
Duvelibe region, to the south of Baghdad, was recaptured from the ISIS gangs. This information was also confirmed by the Baghdad operation command.
The 14th land brigade and volunteer Shiite militias organised an operation to liberate Duvelibe region to the south of Bagdad. While Duvelibe region was recaptured from the ISIS gangs, it is stated that 43 gang members were killed during the clashes, and weapons and equipment were seized.
After the Iraqi army took control of Duvelibe region, the destruction of the town by the ISIS gangs was revealed. Reliable sources stated that the infrastructure of this Shia city was damaged and many places were blown up by the ISIS gangs.
Iraqi aircraft bombard the positions of the ISIS gangs
As part of the war against ISIS gangs, the Iraqi air forces hit the positions of the ISIS gangs in Anbar and Samarra. The defence ministry of Iraq broadcast footage of airstrikes by Iraqi aircraft targeting  vehicles and buildings of the ISIS gangs.

Ebdo: We are ready for alliances that will contribute to a democratic Syria

YPG/YPJ Kobanê Commander Meysa Ebdo evaluated the decision of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) to “fight the ISIS gangs in Kobanê”, saying: “we are ready for alliances that will contribute to the democratisation of Syria. However, if the FSA wants to support our resistance, it should fight ISIS gangs in other areas controlled by them, not in Kobanê. That would be more useful.”
Ebdo added that the issue had come up after Turkish President R. Tayyip Erdoğan said: “Rather than the Peshmerga our first preference is the FSA.” She said it was an unacceptable policy for the FSA to be seen as an alternative to the Kurdish identity of the struggle in Kobanê. She added: “The Burkan Al Firat alliance we have established in Kobanê should be taken as a basis.”
‘If the FSA wants to support us, let them fight ISIS in the towns they hold’
YPG/YPJ Kobanê Commander Meysa Ebdo continued: “If the FSA wants to support the struggle in Kobanê, then hitting the ISIS gangs in places such as Manbij, Tel Abyad, Jarablus, Al Bab or Rakka, which they control, would offer more support to our resistance, and ensure they were taken from the gangs.”
‘Components of FSA are already with us in Kobanê’
Ebdo said that they could fight together with all forces in all parts of Syria against the savagery of ISIS, adding that in Kobanê they were already together with representatives of the Arab people in the Burkan Al Firat alliance: “in the last two months they have fought and died with us.”
‘FSA cannot be an alternative to us’
Ebdo said that the Turkish government had proposed the FSA as an alternative to the peshmerga going to Kobanê, adding that this illustrated the Turkish government’s attitude to their resistance. “If the FSA’s declaration has the intention of constituting an alternative to the YPG, then we will never accept this. If the FSA is genuine then it should fight ISIS in other regions.”
‘They can fight in Tel Abyad’
Ebdo said the FSA could go to Tel Abyad, which is between Kobanê and Cizire canton, thereby opening the possibility of a corridor.
“We are ready for all alliances that will contribute to the democratisation of Syria”
“We are ready for alliances that will contribute to the democratisation of Syria, based on the fraternity of peoples. “Kobanê is part of Syria. The resistance in Kobanê will make a major contribution to the democratisation of Syria. But those who wish to make alliances with us must respect the YPG resistance and the identity of the Kurdish identity of Kobanê. Our areas are Kurdish areas. The FSA should fight in other areas and have the perspective of a democratic Syria. We must act together against ISIS and uproot it everywhere.”
‘If the peshmerga come, we will fight shoulder to shoulder’
Ebdo commented on the decision of the South Kurdistan Parliament to send peshmerga, saying: “All Kurdish forces have the right to fight in Kobanê, but in order to prevent confusion, they should act in unison with the YPG. Just like in Sinjar where the YPG, HPG and peshmerga are acting in a coordinated way. We will fight shoulder to shoulder, not as two separate armies.”
‘The war will continue until ISIS gangs are thrown out of Syria’
YPG/YPJ Kobanê Commander Meysa Ebdo also evaluated the latest situation in Kobanê, saying the struggle would go on until the ISIS gangs are expelled from the entire country.
She added that the gangs were attempting to infiltrate the border area on the eastern front close to the Mürşitpınar border gate, but that the YPG/YPJ forces had succeeded in preventing this.
Ebdo said: “The ISIS gangs are suffering heavy casualties every day, but they bring in reinforcements and continue their attacks. We will not allow them take Kobanê, and our struggle will continue until they have been evicted from the whole of Syria.”
