In Silopi district of Şırnak where a state of siege continues in its 27th day, police have seized and abducted the bodies of three slain civilians held in a mosque in Şehit Harun neighborhood.
Bodies of Mehmet Mete (11), Aydın Mete (16) and Ömer Maslu (70) were being held in Hz. Hüseyin Mosque in Şehit Harun neighborhood as state forces continue denying burial of civilians they have killed under the ongoing onslaught.
Special operation police took the three bodies from the mosque to an undisclosed place unbeknownst to their families today.
11-year-old Mehmet Mete had been killed by police on 21 December.
Mehmet’s cousin Aydın Mete, who had been missing since he left home, was found dead on a street 4 days later.
