The ghost of Greek non-moralism speaks to you.!
In 1939 there were communists and anarchists who were NOT racists like Churchill and Roosevelt, NOT colonialists like Churchill and Roosevelt, but their neutralist line brought them objectively and not "conspiratorially" close to the Nazis.
To be with Churchill and Roosevelt, then, may be initially guilt-inducing, but it was the right thing to do, as it is right now.
This is politics, a game with demons, if possible with a good purpose.
