The sophistry upsets you, not because it is sophistry, thus a violation
of Reason, but because it reveals the gaps in your own, apparently
coherent, argument, but also (it upsets you, because it reveals) the
possibility that your own Reason as a whole, as an edifice, to has hidden
sophistic underpinnings.
Sophistry disturbs a hidden sophistry, who has married, settled down, decided to have children, and teaches them the "Reason Against Sophistry".
